Workout Program

So, do you actually have a "workout program" for your spiritual fitness? If so, what do you do.

If not, why not?

I have intentional times (MUG times) which typically include 20 minutes of different types of prayer, mostly contemplative (heart). I also do some reflective bible reading for about 10 minutes (heart; head). I usually have a couple of books going that I read almost nightly at bedtime (head). Right now I am rereading two books: The Divine Conspiracy and The Great Divorce.

From time to time I take meditative walks through our neighborhood for some solitude and meditation (heart).

I go to under the bridge each week to serve (action). I do youth (head; action). I meet with some guys once per week (head).

Most importantly, I try live in the moment. You can call this continous prayer or practicing the presence of Jesus, or whatever. I think this is my end goal. God wants me to walk with him as I move through life. This is hard, but my MUG and practice times help me do better at this. I am improving.
