At youth, when we "drop in", do you know what that is? Do you know how to do it? Some of us adults talked about this the other night and the question came up as to whether the youth know what it is and how to do it. I thought I would check with you and see your thoughts.

well personally i think of "dropping in" as a fancy way of saying "im going to pray and get focused on God"...thats basically what it is right? to be able to be attentive to the present time and being able to listen to what is said with not only your mind but with your heart...so that maybe you take something greater away from the message...thats pretty much what it is right?
Pretty much. What do you do during that time? Are you saying words in your head?
Sometimes....sometimes i dont say anything though...it kinda just depends on the night...
im doing a different type of dropping in here, but why the change from mile20 to marke? has mile20 hasnt given up on the journey has he?
No Clay, I have not given up the journey. On the contrary, the journey continues. But I am not at Mile20 anymore. More like Mile 22, but I did not want to keep changing my name. Since my name was Mark, I thought I would go with that name. I put the E on the end to distinguish it from some of the other Mark's. Get it?
Clay, I never taught you how to drop in. Do you know what we are talking about?
im pretty sure it is something we have discussed before. moving from the head to the heart, and trying to feel what god is saying and not just know what god is saying.
i think specifically we talked about it when i was preparing the talk i gave at youth.
