Gratefulness

Porn is bad. Living with an attitude of gratefulness is good.

Of the 6,000,000,000 people on earth, we in developed countries represent the top billion in terms of standard of living. This is in contrast to the 5 billion people living in under-developed countries. Of those 5 billion, the bottom billion are living in third-world countries with negative economic growth. They are the poorest of the poor.

We in the US live in the most prosperous and liberated country of the top billion. Me and my family live in at least the top 25% of the top country within the top billion in the world.

Among the bottom billion, today, there are some that will be grateful for life and love. In a few hours, I will sit humbly around a table, in warmth and security, healthy, with people that I cherish more than life itself, hoping to do the same.
