Reason # 1

We decided last night to get enough posts for another 10 bunk beds. We always rethink what we are doing when it is time to get more posts because they are such a hassle to get. It is a time for us to think about why we do what we do. There are multiple levels to this project, but let’s keep it simple, its right and just. We should never underestimate the value of righteousness and justice.

His righteousness is higher than the mighty mountains; His justice is deeper than the sea. They shine like the noonday sun. They are the foundation of His throne. They are what He loves, establishes, administers, maintains, and proclaims. He carries them in His right hand and secures them for all the oppressed.

The Lord longs to be gracious; He rises to show compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice.

Cursed is the man who withholds justice from the fatherless.

Learn to do right!

Seek justice,
encourage the oppressed.
Defend the cause of the
fatherless.
