Tonight, we delivered two beds to Stacie and her family. One twin for Jerlisa, 11 years of age (middle photo), and a queen size for Stacie. Stacie and two of her kids were sleeping on a old sofa bed. Jerlisa was sleeping on a worn out hospital matress with no linen. We put the word out last week. Jane donated the queen matress set and frame along with some sheets, two other people donated some money, Shannon donated a toaster oven, Jack donated some of his old toys, and our pack donated their time to make Jerlisa's headboard. A network of goodness.
We need to build two more beds for Jerica and Jeremiah (top photo).
The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.
